Acclaimed Iranian feature film ‘World War III’ is set to be screened in Iranian theaters for Eid al-Fitr holidays.

Award-winning Iranian Film 'World War III' is set to hit cinemas nationwide for Eid al-Fitr holidays.

This strategic decision was made to allow more viewers to watch the film during a time of Islamic celebration when people have more free time.

"World War III" is a captivating film directed by Houman Seyyedi.

The story follows the life of Shakib, a homeless day laborer who has been unable to move on after the devastating loss of his wife and son due to an earthquake many years ago.

Shakib finds work in a place where a movie about the world war is being filmed. One day, when one of the actors falls ill, Shakib is chosen as his stand-in.

He is given the opportunity to stay in the filming location, but with a catch. He is not allowed to receive any visitors while he is there.

However, Shakib makes a drastic decision that endangers his fate. Against the rules, he allows a visitor to enter the mansion, which sets off a series of events that lead to unforeseen consequences.

The movie is a must-watch for those who love intricate plots and captivating storylines.

The cast members of the film include Mohsen Tanabandeh, Neda Jebreeli, Mahsa Hejazi, and Navid Nosrati.

The flick is the recipient of the Orizzonti Award for Best Film at the 79th Venice International Film Festival in Italy.
